The Breedon Community Group is a local volunteer-led organisation dedicated to fostering community spirit and supporting charitable causes within Breedon on the Hill and the surrounding area.

Each year, we organise a number of well-attended community and charity events that bring residents together and raise funds for local projects and good causes. Our key events for the coming months include:

Summer Party on the Green (June 2026): A 1960s-themed outdoor event with live music, stalls, traditional games, and family activities. This is one of our largest gatherings, attracting residents and visitors from across the area.

Charity Stalls at the Breedon Wakes Festival (September 2026): We actively participate in this long-standing village tradition, hosting charity stalls to raise money for local and regional good causes.

Support for the Breedon on the Hill Croquet Club: We are proud to provide ongoing assistance to the Croquet Club, helping to maintain and promote this much-loved community facility.

Annual Indoor Horse Racing & Supper Night: Held at Breedon Parish Hall, this fun evening combines good food, a bit of friendly competition, and fundraising for local causes Date TBA) 

Breedon on the Hill New Year’s Eve Party (2026): A village celebration to welcome in the New Year, featuring live entertainment, refreshments, and games — all in aid of local charities and initiatives.

Our events are entirely community-run, relying on the support of local residents, volunteers, and businesses.
